New receive aerial - August 2022

For 700 MHz band clearance, Bacup has a new UHF receive aerial due to the channel changes at the parent site Winter Hill. The channel changes were implemented in August 2020. The upper trough receive aerial has been replaced by a panel.

A few trees have grown since Lee Goulding visited in 2004. Also there is a more substantial security fence.

The top of the Winter Hill mast is just visible 14.4 miles distant.
