November 2019 - new antennas

As Dave Stanley mentions on the previous page, work took place in November 2019 to replace the antennas, allowing MFR and Caithness FM to operate separately. Malcolm sent over these photos of the work taking place, and information on the arrangements at Ben Dorrery.

Malcolm writes: Ben Dorrery was re-engineered with new antennas at the top of the tower more than 3 years ago. You can see the slant polarised dipoles at the top. As with Cairngorm and Tor Sliasg, the community service is combined and radiates from the same antennas. A huge 5 element Yagi half way down receives Mounteagle well enough to use MPX straight through. Mounteagle is 66 miles away.
