Pleasure to bring the first update to this site in 49 years :)
This must be one of the few sites where there are no site sharers, just the TV relay. An explanation for this might be that Auchmore Wood is near the bottom of a hill (but at the top of a rise), Cnoc Udais, and there are towers at the summit with mobile phone antennas and other comms on them. Coverage I guess covers Contin and Marybank to the north, and Muir of Ord to the east.
Parked at the start of a forestry track at Aultgowrie Bridge, through Auchmore Wood to Auchmore Farm, and up the track to Cnoc Udais. |
