| Originally a BBC landlord site, TV channels 1 - 3 entered service on 21st May 1976, with Channel 4 from September 1987. The Dunkeld relay is situated on Newtyle Hill, above the twin towns of Birnam and Dunkeld in Perthshire. John's photos were taken on 4 August 2010, a significant date as this was first stage of DSO. |

| Further down we find two vertical logs and a horizontal log... |
| ...all of which seem to be pointing in slightly different directions. The horizontal log would be pointing towards Craigkelly, which was the RBL source for the two BBC channels, prior to DSO. |
