THE TRANSMISSION GALLERY

HANNINGTON

Photos by Mark Carver and Martin Watkins Page last updated: 2011-07-16

July 2011

A joint visit by two veterans of mb21..... culminating in a pleasant evening at the local hostelry.

The most visible change is that the reserve 4 tier panel aerial that had been installed at the bottom of the Band II aperture (replacing the bottom tier of cross-bows) has gone, and the cross-bows are back.

The Channel Four RBS logs (on Mendip) are still in place.

The lowest tier looks none the worse for its temporary absence.

A whole set of air-con units have appeared near the now-extended DTT building, and they seem to have been encased in a Faraday Cage; at least that's what it looks like.

This bodged GPS receive aerial is presumably temporary...

Another old friend whose days are numbered...

But DSO or no DSO the view will remain the same...
