Kingdom FM launched on the 5th October 1998 from this site and another at Purin Hill. The Edinburgh DAB multiplex launched in the autumn of 2000.

The broadcast aerials are on the middle of the three towers in this picture.

No broadcast aerials on this tower.

The band II FM radio aerials are at the top on the left-hand side. Two horizontal dipoles and a vertical dipole. This is the same arrangement as at Purin Hill.

Two band III dipoles are used for DAB transmit, slightly obscured by the larger folded dipole.

The towers overlook the Knock Hill motor race circuit.
