Comments: Brailes is a relay of Sutton Coldfield

Hide historic services

The first set of pictures were taken by Peter, while the relay was an analogue only site

Four tier 'batwing' Tx aerial,

RBL logs looking at feed station, Sutton Coldfield

UPDATE: April 2012.

Mark Carver found himself on a walk, about half a mile from the site, and it looks as if the Tx aerial has been totally replaced, and/or had a GRP shroud fitted. Almost certainly connected with DSO, that happened in Sept 2011.

Lower Brailes, and its church

Brailes was originally an IBA landlord site which entered service on 6-Dec-1985. It was built to serve about 660 people in Lower Brailes, Sutton-under-Brailes, Sibford Ferris and parts of Whichford.
