May 2022

This temporary TV transmitter was brought into service on 9-Mar-2022 to serve viewers in Northallerton who may be struggling with reception from the temporary Bilsdale masts built in the aftermath of the fire in August 2021. The Freeview website quotes an ERP of 1.25 kW.

The site is in a field just to the west of the Fox and Hounds pub car park in the village of Bullamoor. About 1.7 miles east of the centre of Northallerton. You can just see the pub through the trees.

Two tiers of crossed log periodics for transmit with the RBL receive log at the top pointing towards Pontop Pike.
