Show historic services

2007

Blackburn was originally an IBA landlord site which entered service on 23rd July 1984. The original analogue UHF channel allocation was 51, 44, 41 & 47. A standard group B, allocation. Channel 4 was changed to UHF ch 31 in 1996 prior to launch of Channel 5, which from Winter Hill was to use the adjacent UHF channel, 48. Since DSO, Blackburn has reverted to a standard group B channel allocation.
