I forgot how long the track was and how steep it was!

On the bonus side, I could actually get to the gate and inside the compound, so managed to get some more detailed pics!


UHF tough Rx antenna and band II Rx antenna pointing at Wenvoe.


In this view we can see that the trough antennas previously used for transmission have been replaced by panels. Also visible is the group of four horizontally polarised logs used by the now-defunct Blaenavon Link which provided a feed to Pontypool.


Just below the UHF transmit panels, on the left, is a single vertical dipole, which is the band II transmit aerial for all FM radio services. Below that is a crossed, 4 element band II Yagi, which is the receive aerial for Radio Wales from Christchurch.
