I visited this site in a howling gale, leaving me having to kneel down in order to operate the camera without excessive shake! It seems NGW have taken to recycling signs at the bottom of the very steep access road, with an authorised personnel only sign being re used. Wandering up the access road brings you to a compound on top of the hill in which the tower sits "note the Crown Castle sign is falling to bits" in this wind, I'm not surprised! Tx arrangement for TV is a cardioid, and for FM is 4 slant dipoles, all around the mast. Rx is more interesting, with FM Rx on Llangollen, NNE, TV on Long Mountain, SSE, and a single Log pointing E at (possibly) The Wrekin. Any ideas what it's for?
