HOLYWELL
Photos by Paul Martin | Page last updated: 2012-07-10 |
A revisit, and not much has changed. About all that's happened is that the NTL site plate on the cabin has been changed to an Arqiva one. This time it was dry enough (even after a day of torrential rain) to venture into the yard with the permission of the farmer... who remembered me taking the original set of photos in 2005. |
The view of the tower from just west of Holywell town, with the Dee estuary and the Wirral peninsula in the background, and the Mersey estuary and Liverpool beyond. |
From top to bottom: UHF transmit array, VHF receive yagi (on Llangollen), GSM panels, VHF transmit array, UHF receive log periodic (on Moel-y-Parc). |
