Cambridge (Madingley) was originally a BBC landlord site with Radio Cambridgeshire launching on 1-May-1982. BBC national FM radio transfered from the Cambridge site on 12-Aug-1983, with Radio 1 added on 17-Feb-1994. ILR Cambridge (CN-FM) launched on 12-Feb-1989 on 103.0 MHz. IRR East of England (Vibe FM) on 105.6 MHz from 22-Nov-1997 Cambridge (Madingley) transmitted Channel 5 from 12-Feb-1999 on UHF Ch 34. Closed 13-Apr-2011. DAB service dates: Digital One 21-Aug-2002; BBC 22-Apr-2004; Cambridge 16-Sep-2004.

At the top (66m), is the band II omni directional MP array used by Radio Cambridgeshire and Heart. Below (above the platform at 62m), is the DAB array.
