CLEE HILL

A walk up to the summit of Titterstone Clee Hill. It's quite easy to reach as there's a road right up to the towers, with plenty of parking, though be warned the potholes are huge in the main car park! If there was a single spot where you could see pretty much the whole of the West Midlands as well as over to Wales, then this would be it. What a great location, no wonder it's been chosen as a broadcast site, makes you think the range of an FM Tx from up there. |

The DAB antennas point westwards towards Kidderminster. I assume the two objects on the pole on the right are aircraft warning lights? |

This must be where the transmitters are located... |
Back of the site. The road behind the photo leads off to the Radar installations. |
Entrance to the site. A footpath leads off to the right, where the arrow is pointing, to the summit. |
I believe the 'golf ball' on the left is for air traffic (NATS) and the smaller one on the right for the Met Office. |
