BBC National DAB was added at Llandecwyn on 18-Sep-2009. The UHF transmit panels were replaced ahead of 700 MHz band clearance in May 2018. The clearance channel changes were implemented on 14-Nov-2018. It's 20 years since Mike Pratt visited this site for the Tx Gallery so a revisit was long overdue. It is about 3 miles drive up a single track road to the driveway leading to Tallin Farm and onwards to the Tx site further up the hill.

The band III DAB dipoles are indicated in this picture. With such a large separation between the two my guess is that they are arranged as main and reserve.

The new flat faced UHF transmit panels.

The band II FM radio transmit panels and the upper DAB dipole. Note that there are only band II panels on three sides of the tower. It is the southeast face (123 degrees), which doesn't have a panel.

A single UHF log periodic points towards Arfon for the TV programme feeds.

FM radio receive which points towards Ffestiniog.

The satellite dish provides the BBC National DAB programme feed.
