New transmit aerials - September 2023

The transmit aerials have been replaced at Ripponden for 700 MHz band clearance which was implemented here on 5-Feb-2020.

The new transmit panels. It is just possible to see the embossing trade mark of Sira on the front.

Round the back we can see the power divider and some nice water proofing covering the connectors. Probably Denso tape.

The original trough aerial is still in use to receive the programme feeds from Emley Moor.
