New UHF transmit aerial - September 2024

The UHF transmit panels at Ferndale have been replaced as a consequence of the channel changes required for 700 MHz band clearance. The channel changes were implemented on 15-May-2019. Also community radio station Rhondda Radio now transmits from the rooftop of the adjacent shooting club building.

UHF and FM receive aerials. From Ferndale the difference in pointing angle between Wenvoe (UHF TV) and Porth (FM Radio) is just one degree.
