This site is in Richmond, North Yorkshire. Originally a 405-line BBC 1 relay of Pontop Pike transmitting on channel 3. It entered service at some time during the period April 1967 to March 1968 and closed on the 4th January 1983.

Fresh Radio (now Star Radio) used to broadcast from the adjacent Richmond (Borough Road) site, but moved to a new site at Richmond (Mercury Road) in July 2015. It was never established whether Fresh/Star ever used this tower.
