Show historic services

November 2021

This is a temporary TV transmitter setup in the aftermath of the fire at Bilsdale to serve those viewers in Thirsk who received their TV from Bilsdale. I estimate that about half of the town uses Emley Moor, looking at all the rooftop aerials. This temporary transmitter was brought into service on 31-Oct-2021. The Freeview website quotes an ERP of 50W.

Two tiers of crossed log periodics for transmit.

Satellite dishes receiving the programme feeds from 27.5° west for the two BBC muxes and 28° east for the D3&4 mux.
