| Little Shurdington was built by the IBA for the Gloucester & Cheltenham ILR service which launched on 23rd October 1980 as Severn Sound. This is a very typical ILR MF site. In this case a mast with a sloping wire reflector to direct the radiation pattern away from other co-channel transmitters. Within the UK, GE75 also allocated 774 kHz to Enniskillen, Leeds and Plymouth. The frequency was also used by BBC Kent at Littlebourne. Little Shurdington features in an IBA Technical Review about MF sloping wire reflectors, commenting that this site is the most geometrically compressed (short) aerials.
